TENNESSEE

Deer, bear, and wild boar hunting with the bow is con-fined to a special managed hunt that takes place around the20th of November of each year. This is held in the CherokeeNational Forest. Permits are $5.00 each in addition to regularhunting license. A non-resident's three-day hunting licenseis $6.00. It, therefore, costs the out-of-stater $11.00 to partici-pate in this hunt. Bows and arrows "suitable to kill biggame" are required. Bag limit: one buck, one bear and/orone boar. Applications with remittances must be in not laterthan September 19; they are to be sent to Director of Gameand Fish Commission, 166 Eighth Avenue North, Nashville3, Tennessee. Those interested should write early for appli-cation blanks. The only accident reported was one man whofell and broke his leg. Reports are that this is a gala affair.
