Cut a 5 foot length from the spool of cutty hunk fish-ing line and wax from end to end; this will be the servingcord. Cut another piece of the fishing line about 8 inches long,double it and twist slightly so as to form a loop; this we willcall the "pull through."

Lay one end of the serving cord at point B on Fig. 50,make five turns around the bow string and over the end ofthe serving cord; then trim the end of the serving cord closeto the wrapping; this secures the upper end of the serving,point B, Fig. 50. You now have the rather monotonous taskof whipping the serving cord around the string, time aftertime, until the 5 inch space between points B and C, Fig. 50,
