If one has normal eyesight, one of the eyes will be what isknown as the master eye. It is the eye that directs the vision.
If your right eye is your master eye, then it is better toshoot with both eyes open. Anyone can see twice as well with
both eyes than he can with only one. Shooting with both eyesopen prevents a strain that often causes blurred vision whenone eye is closed. If, however, your left eye is the master, thenthe archer should close the left eye or learn to shoot lefthanded.
I have seen people, who are right handed and whose lefteyes are the masters, wear glasses with the left lenses frostedso that they may shoot with both eyes open, thus preventingboth eye strain and confusion.
