He will havebraced some of them and drawn them. He will have formeda good idea of what he can pull and what he cannot. We statedearlier in this book that the weight of a hunting bow shouldbe 20% under the maximum one can draw. You will havebeen convinced that, say, 65 lbs. is all you can manage to drawand hold for a few seconds to the chin. Deducting the 20%,you will have decided that 52 lbs. is the proper hunting bowto get. You will also have arrived at the proper length arrowto use; this may be 27 inches.
