Both the self osage and the laminated bows will stand upunder any weather conditions. The choice between them willdepend on your choice of two qualities—cast or dependability.Osage has had the test of time and it can be depended on totake the very roughest usage and even abuse. It has a goodcast—it is one of the very best hunting bows. The well madelaminated bow with fibre glass back and either toxhorn orfibre-glass belly has a superior cast, will not change weightwith temperature variations and will not follow the string.But the percentage of breakage appears to be somewhatgreater in these bows as compared to osage. A choice of eitherwill be a good choice. |
