in the chest cavity. A paunch shot is to be avoided if possibleas it means a lot of trailing to recover the game. When facing a deer, you will note a depression just wherethe shoulders roll in and the neck starts forward; this is calledthe sticking place. An arrow directed to this spot will rangethrough the heart and on into the lungs; this is a deadly shot,one to be desired but one that requires accurate shooting. |
