A deer may fail to "see" an immovable man, but the bow-man has to move before shooting, and the deer must comecloser to him than to a rifle hunter. He must raise his arms todraw his bow. If he is in the open the deer will see this move-ment, and will make a sudden change in course or speed thatwill likely spoil the bowman's chance for a hit. The movementof a rifleman is less and the deer's reaction less important tothe man with a gun. So why not seek concealment whereverpossible? It seldom happens that some kind of a blind can't beimprovised especially if the hunter can shoot from a kneelingor sitting position.
